Participating at SAGSC, UChicago

Founder, Rajat Nayyar will be going to Chicago to participate in the upcoming The University of Chicago conference on 23rd & 24th Feb’17. Theme: Materials in Focus: Working across Media and Methods in South Asia.

Will be screening my upcoming film ‘Ropani’ (portrait film on Aaji who has been sowing paddy for 40 years in Bihar) and will also be discussing collaborative archival practices, visual anthropology and intangible heritage in India.

The South Asia Graduate Student Conference at the University of Chicago is known for bringing together graduate students working on the Indian Subcontinent across disciplines, time periods and regions of interest from campuses within and outside the United States.
