Remains (Panchganga Ghat, 2015)

   
This place (Panchganga Ghat) is one of the only locations remaining where I found this orange light and shadow. Banaras ghats have changed and LED white lights have been installed on each ghat. Economical and energy efficient but there is no more shadow play on the steps… and the boats parked, now seem like a part of a well lit tourist museum. No thought about aesthetics.
