Quilled Paper Earrings | Katkari Tribalpreneurs Project | Sapana.org

A 2.35 min film by Espírito Kashi.

Sapana.org provided basic training to the women from the Katkari tribe in Medha Village, Satara on making quilled paper earrings, allowing them to express themselves creatively and have fun within the process. This has now proven to be a successful social business, while uplifting their self confidence, it provides for an additional income for their families. Here’s the ‘marketplace’ where they sell the earrings to Miguel from Sapana.org and he sells the raw material (hooks, paper) to them.
